| Computer engineers play a key role in the design, construction, and operation of the computer systems and software that change our lives daily. Computer engineers are uniquely equipped to design computer systems in which hardware and software components are closely coupled, and both are critical to the success of the design. As a result, our graduates are equipped with the skills to work in a wide range of fields and research areas, ranging from artificial intelligence, software engineering, cybersecurity, and more. |
| Additional Admission Requirements: | This program does not allow admission directly from high school. Preprofessional Study Time: 1 year. All students in the Qualifying Year in the Faculty of Engineering follow a common curriculum in their first year. At the end of the first year, students choose among the various specialized Engineering programs offered and between the traditional and cooperative education streams.
Students with transferable post-secondary coursework taken outside of the Faculty of Engineering are considered for admission based on GPA and relevant transfer credit. |
